Jessica & Patrick's Wedding - 1st May, 2011

Gorgeous Jess and handsome Pat were a pleasure to photograph on the first Sunday in May.

We started at their parents' homes for the pre-wedding photos and then at the Broadway Chapel followed by photos around the city of Brisbane.

A glorious day and gosh, what a gown! :-)

Dannii & Ben's Wedding - 30th April, 2011

After a shaky start with the weather, it ended up being a glorious day.

We started at the Ultra Hotel at the Gold Coast where Ben surprised Dannii with a stretch gold Hummer. It delivered her to the Emerald Lake Golf Course on time! Then after the ceremony we made the most of the sunset. Congratulations Dannii and Ben!

Sunny & Jon's Wedding - 26th March, 2011

What a perfect March day it was to hold Sunny and Jon's wedding.
We started at St Stephen's Chapel in the city and went onto UQ at St Lucia, finishing at Mt-Coot-tha for the gorgeous reception.

The Shimmer Band Photo Session

I had a rare opportunity this Sunday to photograph a band. Leah and Angela, two of the band's vocalists were on the ball with "costume changes" and looked fantastic as a result. You can find their work at http://www.shimmerband.com.au/

Wedding - Kyunah & Chris, 2nd April, 2011

What a gorgeous day it was at Couran Cove Island Resort at South Stradbroke Island. It was great to see Kyunah and Chris so chilled and relaxed and happy on their wedding day. Their ceremony was held in the Mango Chapel, a natural amphitheatre created by majestic mango trees.

I am always excited to photograph at the island as it has EVERYthing a photographer and wedding couple could want as a backdrop. We made use of the surf beach, forest, boardwalks and sandhills. Many of their guests chose to stay overnight after their surf-club reception at the great eco-friendly accommodation that Couran Cove offers.

In addition, the Couran Cove staff are so professional and helpful and go out of their way to make your day as perfect as you dreamed it to be! Both Kyunah and Chris are ex-employees of Couran Cove and I can see why they went back there to have their wedding. Great choice, guys and congratuations again!

Little Madi! March, 2011

I am really loving photographing babies, children and families these days. Without the time constraints of a wedding day shoot, it allows me to relax with the kiddies (and their parents!) and get some candid angles. Madilyn brought along a plastic flower (replacement security blanky??)and it turned out to be a wonderful prop to work with and it helped her to get into the swing of the photo session.

Zoe & James were married in the UK last October and have come to Australia for a bit of a honeymoon with their gorgeous bub, Thomas.
